Kenny began his career as a Wealth Manager at Equity Concepts in 2001 before joining with The Legacy Advisor Group in 2024.  With his passion for teaching, Kenny is dedicated to educating clients and increasing their financial literacy.

Before becoming a Wealth Manager, Kenny received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Mary Washington College and held positions with the Central Intelligence Agency, First Market Bank, and Circuit City.  While at Equity Concepts, he served as a member of the investment committee that oversaw $1 billion of assets under management, earned his Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®) designation, and attained the following Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) licenses: Series 6, 7, 63, and 65.  As an Investment Adviser Representative, he is also responsible for protecting his clients’ best interests and completely disclosing all important information.  Kenny has been quoted in various media outlets, including U.S. News & World Report, Investor’s Business Daily, Financial Advisor Magazine and the Richmond Times Dispatch.

Outside of work, Kenny has served as President on both the Richmond and Virginia Board of Directors for Bethany Christian Services, the largest orphan care agency in the United States. Kenny currently serves as President for the Church Benefits Board. This organization serves over 1,000 ministers, church staff, nonprofit leaders and field personnel around the globe. The benefits team is responsible for overseeing the $130 million 403(b)(9) retirement plan, along with health, dental and vision insurance.  Also, Kenny is currently the Co-Chair of board for the Master of Financial Analysis Luter School of Business graduate program at Christopher Newport University.

Kenny and his wife Jennifer live in Mechanicsville, Virginia, with their three children, Caleb, Lydia and Isaiah. They enjoy traveling to historical landmarks and can be found vacationing at the Outer Banks and Smith Mountain Lake.
